When leadership is the constraint, everything else waits.
Garrison Group partners with executives and senior leaders to build the leadership capacity that drives what comes next.
The ProblemMost organizations that plateau don't have a strategy problem or a market problem.
They have a leadership problem: one that's hard to see from the inside, harder to name out loud, and nearly impossible to solve alone.
The executives we work with have risen on their own talent. They're sharp, driven, and genuinely committed to the people they lead. And they've hit a point where the old way of operating isn't scaling with the organization. The team is misaligned. The bench is light. Good people are leaving. Growth is stalling.
That’s where we come in.
What We Do
Garrison Group works with leaders and organizations at the inflection point — the moment when what got you here won't get you where you're going.
We don't do assessments for the sake of assessments or coaching for the sake of coaching. Every engagement begins with Immersion — a deep look at what's actually happening in your organization — and everything that follows is built around three levers:
Team Design
Productivity & Operations
The work is specific, practical, and grounded in what your organization actually needs. Not a program. A partnership.
Leadership Capabilities
We work with leaders who are navigating something real.
Executives and senior leaders at organizations with $5M to $150M in revenue come to us when they're dealing with:
A leadership transition: new role, new structure, or someone who needs to step up
A team that's not performing the way it should — and hasn't for a while
Succession, restructuring, or growth that's outpacing the leadership bench
A gap between the leader they are and the leader the organization needs them to be
If any of that sounds familiar, let's talk.
"I've been telling anyone who will listen how great you were as our strategic planning partner. Your approach had some key differentiators and we're much better off for it."

Ready to close the gap?
The first conversation costs nothing and commits you to nothing. It's just a conversation — about what you're navigating and whether this is the right fit.
Alanna Howard
Executive coach. Leadership advisor. The person you call when the leadership challenge is yours to solve.
Some people find leadership coaching because they want to grow. The executives I work with usually find me because something isn't working — and they've run out of room to figure it out alone.
I've been in that room. Not as a coach, but as a leader. I spent over a decade at the intersection of technology and people, driving digital transformations at Fortune 500 manufacturing companies, leading marketing and technology teams, and serving on nonprofit boards in chair and vice chair roles. At every level, the constraint was the same: the technical problems were solvable. The leadership problems were what actually determined whether we won or lost.
That's what I do now. At Garrison Group, I work with executives and senior leaders on the leadership problems that are quietly running everything else — team design, succession, organizational alignment, the gap between the leader you are and the one your organization needs.
Garrison Group was founded in 2015 by Lynne Garrison. In 2024, Lynne passed leadership of the firm to me. I've built on the foundation she created: deep client relationships, genuine results, and the belief that great coaching doesn't just change leaders — it changes the organizations and people around them.
I'm a certified executive and leadership coach, trained by the Center for Executive Coaching. I'm certified in PXT Select and TTI TriMetrix EQ assessments and hold a Master's degree from NC State University. I'm based in North Carolina and work with clients across the country.
If you're navigating something that matters — a leadership transition, a team that's not performing, a moment where the organization needs to change and you need to lead it — I'd like to talk.
